August Boatwright
August Boatwright is a successful beekeeper that makes all of her money on honey itself. She grew up with three other sisters May, June, and April. April died and left May very sad and still has problems today. August lives with her sisters May and June and has beehives all over Tiburon. August has been through a lot and she doesn't regret any of it. She is very wise and has a story to tell for every question you ask her. August is a strong woman with very few worries and a huge heart. She welcomed Lily and Rosaleen without question and would welcome anyone. Augus would do anything to make someone just a little bit happy for example Lily asked her why she painted the house flamingo pink and she replied "That was May's doing. When we went to the paint shop, she latched on to a color called, "Caribbean Pink." She said it made her feel like dancing a Spanish Flamenco. I personally thought it was the tackiest color I had ever seen, but I figured if it could lift May's heart, it was good enough to live in."
